Part 1. Financial literacy teaches you how to manage your money, how to invest and reinvest for greater financial freedom. I started learning about financial literacy in year 10 on the mobile app “ moneytime ”. Unfortunately moneytime does not provide an affiliate program so I don’t earn a pound by writing about them. I just want to share how useful this app has been to me. Moneytime taught me about loans, mortgages, payslips, capital gains, taxes, self employment, stocks, bonds, how to invest in real estate and allot more which I am going to share with you in future posts. What Is My Relationship With My Stepmom Like ?

Image
We have a decent relationship. Not too much not too little. For the past 4 years she has taken over the role of mother to me. It wasn’t easy at first but with time I got used to her. She was the first person that I started sharing some of my secrets with, but as I grew older, I discontinued the habit. I wish I could continue sharing my secrets with her because that really helped me at first when I had no one to talk to. I stopped because as I got older my secrets started getting deeper and deeper. I appreciate the fact that she’s the one that introduced me to the makeup and cosmetics world. I use to be such a tomboy at 11 years of age. She’s also the first person that bought me my first art kit for my birthday. Blessing dancing Salsa with Abigail She has been keeping up with all the things I’ve done good and bad. Honestly if I was someone’s stepmom I would just leave. She’s been patient and calm. One thing I wish for the future is for us to have a relationship that will be way mo...

Dear internet Family, After the overwhelming concern all of you have expressed, which we honestly didn’t expect, we decided to give you an update on how Blessing is doing. As she turned 16 HMRC has issued her a National Insurance number which she can use to apply for jobs. It has been in the pipeline for a few years now that Blessing was going to grow her online community as a content creator (see dates of previous blog posts ). We have been mentoring her on the necessary steps to take to own and monetise her presence online and consistently creating content that is uplifting, fun and educating. Even though her GCSE’s didn’t go as planned, she has allot of talent which we strategically planned to show her online community after her exams were over. Blessing is a prolific writer, content creator, dancer, makeup artist, producer, chef and has a plethora of soft skills t...

How Has My Relationship With My Parents Changed Since Exams ?

Image
After seeing my exam results my parents realised they had to put their foot down. Because the next step, sixth form, is not going to be a joke. I’ve also been more quiet, reserved, even though I have always been this way. People ask me if I’m going to miss secondary school, my answer is not at all. The only thing I miss is wearing my school uniform. Sometimes you need to let the past go. I’m looking forward for what the future has for me. I’m creating my brand, and growing my community on social media. I will be offering a custom complete makeup kit, lashes and a clothing line. I don’t have a name yet and I’m fully open to ideas. All this will be managed by my parents whilst I focus on retaking my Maths and English. I want to know what you think? Would you support my side hustle when I launch? Click on the link below 👇🏾  https://annaisackah.blogspot.com/p/cosmetics.html?m=1 Are you 16+ and would like to make from £50 to £100 a day off social media? Are you a makeup a...

What Did It Feel Like Taking My GCSE Exams ?

Image
The only terrifying thing during exams was walking out of the hall knowing that if I didn’t do well there was not going to be a second chance. In my opinion it felt like every other exam and I guess that’s why I failed. I was focused on making new friends and trying out fun things together, just like the previous year, I was just focusing on having fun and creating lots of memories. I believe it’s partially my fault because I didn’t put allot of effort in class and didn’t take revisions serious. Support my side hustle by clicking the link below 👇🏾: https://annaisackah.blogspot.com/p/cosmetics.html?m=1 For those taking their GCSE’s next year, my humble piece of advice is to listen to every bit of advice the teacher gives you, even if it sounds stupid, also during half term actually revise instead of saying you’re going to. This year in college I’m going to focus more on learning and retaking my Maths and English instead of mocking around. I know this might sound rude but I’m goi...
