What Happened In Year 11 ?

  The day I started year 11 so many things were going through my head. I was very happy to start year 11 because that was going to be my last year of secondary school. At the same time I was a bit nervous because of exams. I knew they were going to be very hard and stressful. Teachers kept saying “time is going to fly away”, but of course I didn’t believe them. We had like 9 months before exams. The next thing I realised I had only 4 weeks left before GCSE’s. GCSE’s did not even feel like GCSE’s. I believed I did well in my exams. That ended up not being true. I failed most of my subjects. The only subjects that saved me were Italian and Spanish, I was 4 marks away from getting a 9 in spanish. I believe I didn’t do well in my exams because I didn’t take year 10 serious. That was the biggest mistake. For the past few years, I’ve been trying to find out what brings out my abilities and skills the most. I would say I’m a very creative person with a highly imaginative mind. In school, I wasn’t particularly good at any of the STEM subjects, but one thing I believe I excelled at, and still do, is debating and discussing topics like conspiracy theories. Around two years ago, I started attending drama classes. Initially, I thought drama wasn’t for me because I believed I was very introverted. However, that was the first time I really made friends with people outside of school. Before trying drama, I attempted dance classes but quickly got bored with them. Then I tried kick-boxing for about a year, which I enjoyed, but when I tried boxing, I became obsessed with it and thought no other sport or activity could replace it.
