Press Release From Your Favourite Parents
Dear internet Family,
After the overwhelming concern all of you have expressed, which we honestly didn’t expect, we decided to give you an update on how Blessing is doing.
As she turned 16 HMRC has issued her a National Insurance number which she can use to apply for jobs. It has been in the pipeline for a few years now that Blessing was going to grow her online community as a content creator (see dates of previous blog posts). As business owners we understand the work time and consistency that goes into starting a business and scaling it. We have been mentoring her on the necessary steps to take to own and monetise her presence online and consistently creating content that is uplifting, fun and educating. Even though her GCSE’s didn’t go as planned, she has allot of talent which we strategically planned to show her online community after her exams were over. Blessing is a prolific writer, content creator, dancer, makeup artist, producer, chef and has a plethora of soft skills that complement her personality.
As parents, every move we make is for our child and from a place of love which at times must include tough love ❤️ . Any setback in life can be turned into a positive and this is an opportunity that an aspiring content creator like Blessing cannot let go to waste. We will not be explaining the ‘viral’ video further as ultimately we stand by our decision and will always stand by our child. She is currently studying hard for her GCSE resits in a couple months, in the meantime we don’t want the community that she’s building off and online to be dismembered. So we’re managing her presence online, and strategically mentoring her on creating more content and monetising that content so she can still be earning money without sacrificing her education. Blessing is a shareholder in our business which manages various media blogs, social media profiles and other offline enterprises. All proceeds from her trademark will be shared amongst all shareholders which includes Blessing.
It is not uncommon for influencers, content creators and artists to be managed by their family or agencies. We are committed to updating her community on her latest development without compromising her education.

What you did is not tough love, you exposed her for attention. Fraudulent parents, if the whole world is telling you're wrong then listen to them.
ReplyDeleteYou're projecting your own bias on the situation. We're definitely not listening to the world when it comes to what's right for our child. A mature reader would understand the GCSE result is just the tip of the iceberg.
Deleteso what did you get out of exploiting her business. what can we even do with this information. if you were my parents i would run away. if your daughter commits self harm that’s your problem!
DeleteYou can be a bystander and simply watch, or you can take action and focus on your education. We understand you're projecting your own insecurities unto Blessing. She is working hard to retake her resits in November.
DeleteAs someone who has experienced failing their GCSE my parents didn’t tarnish my name and the families by posting me on social media they actually provided support and now I’m about to graduate university and not exploit into making a some bs vlog. You guys need to look into the mirror and realise you guys are the problem.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on graduating University! Maybe 🤔 there’s more to this story than just GCSE results! It is triggering that parents want better for their kids and I understand where you’re coming from! Plus this is a blog! If you want “vlogs” subscribe to Blessings YouTube Channel here’s the link:

Funny cause I haven’t seen anything where she’s actually speaking for herself “vlogs”
DeleteBlessing is building her audience at the moment whilst focusing on retaking her Maths and English. When her TikTok reaches 10k followers and her YouTube Channel reaches 1k subscribers we'll encourage her to make an unabridged vlog of what really happened.
DeleteAs a parent who’s son passed all his GCSE’s and then on to study at ACS who is now 22 so I have room to talk, You speak like you are the best of parents but by YOUR child failing, also shows YOUR failings as a parent in the support you gave her during her crucial final years at school. What you did was fall into the who social media trap which shows you for the parents you really are…
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on being a five star parent. Let's hope the skeletons in your closet don't come out and disrupt all the good work you have done. We accept our mistakes as parents and also teach our children accountability. Something society knows nothing about from your comment!
DeleteStop calling yourselves parents, you guys are pathetic and a real joke. Dad needs to wake up and leave that woman respectfully she has no heart for your child she’s even step mum? Oh lord give blessing strength
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry you were not loved properly by your legal guardians. Fortunately for Blessing she can count on parents who want the best for her, even when the world acts blind to it.
DeleteYou two will regret this one day. God forbid she commits self harm due to the trauma you have both caused for her by allowing private family information to not only become public but VIRAL on an international scale. Praying for her strength and for her to reach financial independence to cut ties with you both. You are both made for each other, reveling from the profit you sought to make by exploiting your daughter. You did this strategically and did not care about her emotions and feelings being caught in the cross fire. You gained exactly what from doing this at the end of the day? Potentially having a daughter that will remember this and cut you off from her life and your grandkids in the future? Very good, continue doing nonsense like this. Idiocricy, greed, and narcissism of the highest order.
ReplyDeleteThe little 5 pennies you two fools will MAYBE make from this, was it worth traumatizing your daughter for life? Stepmom should definitely be ashamed of this, foolish woman. You both have personality disorders. You’re giving everyone the same response “oh ur projecting blah blah” “you must not truly know her blah blah”. Obviously you both don’t know her well at allll pass anybody since you thought this crass punishment would serve her well AND especially since you intervened only after her GCSEs results were published. Why didn’t you know how she was doing and helping her prep before she took it? Wereys between you two “parents”
DeleteYou need reading and comprehension glasses love! Go get them and read and understand ! Thank You! Help Blessing get to 10k followers on TikTok and 1k on YouTube and you'll have a video response, unedited and RAW without filters!
DeleteI hope you parents rot in hell!
ReplyDeleteSHAME ON YOU
